About the Hunt Provider:

This ranch is a DIY Hunters dream. The lodging is in the middle of over 750 private acres, with another separate 100 for national forest access.  Use the lodge for your base hunt at 7,200 feet in altitude.  It is located near the Flattops Wilderness with varying terrain, hay fields, ponds, flat ground, hills and valleys.  When you arrive at the ranch you will see panoramic views of snow-capped mountains on a beautiful, secluded hillside setting the scene.  Bald eagles and hawks soar, while elk, deer, moose, rabbits, turkeys, bears, bobcats, and other wildlife roam freely. Nestled amongst this natural beauty with a lodge equipped with all the modern amenities. Enjoy fishing and relaxing by the water's edge at the private pond.  Nestled amidst breathtaking scenery, this exceptional 750-acre estate is the ideal venue for your event. The property has two distinct homes with everything you need to be comfortable.

You will be given instruction about the cabin, the property boundaries and what to expect from elk in the area.

Only available 2nd rifle season.

Licenses:

Licenses are over the counter for elk.

4 hunters max and bring the families to sleep up to 14.

Vehicle, ATV, horse and foot.

Animal Quality:

Typical 4x4 to 6x6 elk. Mule Deer to 5x5.

Success Rate:

Success rate is not tracked for DIY hunts.

Hunt Difficulty:

Can be easy hiking and up to difficult.

Pricing:

Elk Only, no deer hunting.

 For 4 hunters max it's $3250/person but if you have nonhunters you can divide it up as you like.

2nd Rifle season only $13,000 for the group.  4 hunters and up to 14 people total in the group.
