This ranch near Woodward, OK with approximately 1000 acres broken down in about 4 different areas that combine the type of habitat that is famous for Oklahoma whitetail and turkey. The habitat goes from creeks and waterway that are all grown over to pastures. A road separates some of the property allowing you to start on new ground.
The landowner will show you the farm, where the deer and turkey usually day bed, eat and drink so you have some intel for your hunt. He will also show you the property boundary fences so you know which side of the fence to stay on to not have any neighbor complaints.
The turkey flock size is about 200 birds and can be broken up into smaller groups. When it's windy you should hunt them like pheasant since they will be in cover or hunkered down.
The Licenses are available over the counter and practically unlimited.
Although the landowner does not plan on hunting it any more himself, and has not for years, he knows what it takes to continue to provide good deer habitat for the summer and the winter months. When you see the ranch with him, he will give you tips on hunting the area successfully. Of course, you will always have his cell phone number in case you have questions later during your hunt.
Parking a camper is ok on the farm with electric hookup.
One to 4 hunters max per group. If less than 4 it will be a mixed group. You will be the only hunters on the property.

If you are not a camper person a short drive to Arnett or Woodward you have many motels to select from, with multiple restaurants in the area.
