About the Outfitter:

Newfoundland Canada is perfect moose habitat and the moose have taken advantage of that and expanded their population to the point that they have won the population game with the people. Yes, there are more moose in Newfoundland, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

We cater to all hunting enthusiasts, using hunting techniques and equipment best suited to each client. The use of rifles, bows, and muzzleloaders are acceptable, and we use various calling techniques to bring them into a comfortable range.

After your animal is tagged, the game is professionally quartered (and caped), and carefully handled until it reaches the meat storage building back at the lodge. After adequate hanging, it is transported to the local butcher where you will have multiple options for butchering and shipping, depending on your individual needs. After being butchered (cut, processed, and vacuum packaged) your game remains in a cold storage facility until it is ready for shipment. Butchering and shipping fees are the responsibility of the hunter. You can have it shipped to your front door or bring duffel bags with you to be as extra luggage and it goes with you on the plane and arrives at home when you do. Having it cut up into boneless roasts and steaks assures that you are just taking home red moose meat and no bone. The experienced guides are committed to ensuring your hunt is a success.

This outfitter specializes in 400 pound plus bears. Bears get old in Newfoundland, so they get big. The moist atmosphere provides a thick fur and a shiny coat for your trophy bruin. Black bears are spotted at our lodge each year in excess of 400+ pounds. Although two bears are legal per license, we limit hunters to one bear per tag to ensure conservation of this magnificent species.

The finest Newfoundland Salmon Fishing or Trout fishing available at our remote lodge with private or semi-private cabins to allow you to put your feet up and enjoy your stay. When you have water you have fish, and we have lots of water.

When fishing with us, we will take you on guided tours throughout the interior to various fishing locations. From the pristine waters of the reservoir in search of big brook trout, to the beautiful Exploits River for mighty Atlantic Salmon, your angling experience will be a lifelong memory. Our local, knowledgeable guides will outfit your tackle depending on the target species and season. We recommend spinning rod and fly rod for trout fishing, but Salmon fishing requires fly rod only. We use various types of bait, lures, and flies, many of which are available at the lodge, but you may bring your own if you wish.
